Packs And Points

It's still all go here at the ranch.

I ended my bangle last night at a point where I could stop and consider where to go next. I needed to sleep on the options and re-examine the piece in the daylight and choose what was the best way to go forward to add the perfect touch. I'm pleased to say it looked just as good when I saw it today as I remembered and I just knew it needed some edging in copper charlottes. Except of course all mine are sitting at home thousands of miles away... Fortunately Kate had just the right ones so I was able to being the edging I wanted.

I am passionately in love with blue at the moment- especially when mixed with gold or copper. It all started with a dress I bought in New York and ever since I've tried to use the blue as much as possible. The project I gave to Beadwork magazine last week was blue and copper and now this bangle...they're all I want to use at the moment.

Another 3 kilos of beads arrived here today- which is exciting but trepidacious at the same time as it's makes me thing of all the weighing and bagging I have to do when I get home. Fortunately I love packing up kits so it's something I can look forward to.

I'm pleased today to be able to launch two materials packs for my latest Designer of the Year project in Beadwork magazine- Pointy Pentagons. The kit contains all you need to make two matching bangles in one of two colourways: Blues or Cerulean Pumpkin. Although I have literally just added them to my site stocks are already beginning to dwindle so if you want one please do make sure to order soon.
