Sitting In The Sun

posted: Sunday, 04 March 2012

Right off the bat I want to apologise for another photo of a cat. But seriously, she looked so cute. Or maybe I've been sitting in the sun too long. Either way, today I seem to have rediscovered my camera.

Yet another day of hidden beading. I have so far used 60+ colours in my new bangle and I am just ready for it to be done and dusted. I hope by the end of today it will be.

Excitingly I have decided to sell this bangle as a kit. Not with 60+ colours, but in 3 different limited edition colourways to start with; and so on Friday I spent a ridiculous amount of money on kilos of beads. I still have lots more to order but will be pleased to have another new kit to offer soon. I will also be offering limited edition materials packs for my next Beadwork magazine project, so make sure you sign up for my newsletter for news of when they're available.

Today was gloriously sunny and we spent every second we could sitting out in it beading, debating, discusing and deliberating. One highlight of the last few days has been our discussion about the book's final title and the discovery of a visual thesaurus.

Add to that Kate introducing me to the world of Nudibranchs and my life is a whirl of colour, sound and extended vocabulary.
