Having re-designed the centrepiece of my current necklace I suddenly realised I had made a very minor mistake right at the beginning. The piece still worked, but it looked slightly uneven. Maybe no-one else would spot it but once I'd seen it I knew I couldn't live with it. So out came the scissors...

A few hours later, when the piece was repaired, I looked at it again.

And the mistake was still there.

Now either I repaired the wrong bit (entirely possible) or I hadn't quite understood why the mistake had been made in the first place and then repeated the same mistake again (I suspect this is what happened). Either way I had to get the scissors out again...

By the end of the day all was going well but rather than have it all finished and ready to post, I went to bed feeling further behind than before.

Still at least I managed to start the new centrepiece which will be able to be swapped in if I fancy a colour change.

I will finish this tomorrow. I have to.
