Busy Day

posted: Wednesday, 14 December 2011

Phew. It's just gone 11pm and I've been sitting in front of my computer for almost all of the past 15 hours. Ok, I took some time away to take photos and grab some dinner, but apart from that I've been sitting here working away doing jobs that I always convince myself will only take a couple of hours but of course never do. Fortunately they're all jobs I love doing and I like being busy so it's been an enjoyable day.

As well as write my latest newsletter, which I will be sending out any minute now, I have added most of my classes for 2012 to the website and also 2 new patterns and 1 new kit.

The new instructions are for Winning Rosette Brooches- a fun and quick project to make pins out of measuring tapes or ribbon and Rivoli Chain- a beading and basic wirework combine to create an eye-catching and sparkly necklace.

The new kit contains all you need to make 7 Winning Rosette brooches. Just in time for Christmas? Actually I think I might give some of these kits to my crafty friends whom I'm never quite sure what to give. Any kits ordered before the morning of the 21st December will be posted immediately.

2012 is going to bring lots of exciting classes and trip but I haven't yet added any classes in London for 2012, as I am still weighing up whether this is enough demand for them, especially beading ones. If you would be interested in London classes, such as those I'm teaching over the rest of the UK, then please let me know.

One last test of my newsletter and I'm done for the day. My reward in a few minutes will be some homemade bread slathered in butter and homemade pear jam and possibly a sip of pear gin.

In other good news, after the additon of lots of extra lemon juice, my milk liqueur seems to have finally curdled. A bit.
