It's been months since I've had the time to write a newsletter but I'm pleased to say that one will go out in the next few hours.

After much demand the instructions for my Crystal Wheels beaded beads are finally available separately. These were launched as a kit a year ago and I have literally a couple left of two of the colours so these are available at a discount, while stocks last, to all newsletter subscribers with a discount code.

In jam news- it's a disaster. I suspect there was a language issue with the recipe I was following and it wasn't for pear and ginger preserve, but rather for preserved pears. A subtle difference I stupidly didn't spot at the time, but one which explains the excess of liquid and non-setting. But emergency pectin is on its way and I have my fingers crossed all can be saved.
