Stars Class

Today I headed off to Clacton to teach my Geometric Stars to a nice busy class of enthusiastic beaders.

Everyone worked really hard over the day and many managed to finish a star. Unfortunately despite meaning to, and saying I would, I completely forgot to get a photo of what everyone had achieved by the end of the day. It's a shame as I love seeing all the different colours and patterns people make. Instead I can show you this lovely coloured star, beaded by Karen Kenny, which reminded me of the colours I used in my recent pentagon bangle.

Then there's this great star that Karen, who organised the class and owns Fine Lines, made using size 10 Delicas. I've managed to accumulate a small stash of these over the past few years meaning to re-make some of my pieces in them but have never gottten around to it. But freshly inspired  I bought a few more colours and have an idea for a new bracelet I'm now itching to get on with.

Class over, it was time to catch the train home and even though I'd been right by the sea the closest I got to it was hearing some seagulls and smelling some fish and chips!
