More Pentagons

Today is more pentagon beading and I begin by carrying on with my latest bangle. By the end of the day I realise I have beaded about 20% of a finished piece. Seeing as I want to bead 3 of these (or maybe 5 now I have thought of new ideas) I need to really get a move on with them!

At one point I took a break from the bangle to experiment with other variations I have thought about whilst working, including a bigger version and altering the colour pattern. I'm not happy with either of these and will need to put more time in to them if I want to take them further. The rest of the day I go back to working on the bangle.

At one point my neighbour kindly delivered this tray of vegetables from his allotment. I have only ever used butternut squash in cooking and have no idea what type of squash these ones are, or whether they can only be used in certain recipes etc. Any ideas?
