Great Missenden

Having been home for around 36 hours I have just enough time to unpack, wash clothes, answer emails, clear out mouldy food from fridge, open post and pack again before I'm back on the road.

This time I'm heading off to Great Missenden to teach a week-long geometric beading class at Missenden Abbey. It's my first time here having heard many good reports over the years and I'm looking forward to the week.

My first few hours are spent orientating myself and having a quick walk around the lovely town where I find many shops and galleries which I'm sure will tempt me out later in the week.

There is also a mysterious 'Red Pump Garage' which I think is not all it seems. I will report back as soon as I figure it out.

I wrote recently about needing copper beads and that a shop had ordered them for me- well they have now arrived and I can get back to beading! They are even nicer in real life and now I have them in size 11 and 15 Delicas, my project should whizz along.

Of course I have over-loaded myself and have 5 projects to finish within the next 4 or so weeks so wish me good luck and nimble fingers.
