A busy day today with, as always, lots of emails and paperwork. Added to that I am frantically working on some projects and trying to get some bits and pieces done before my sister's wedding.

Job one was to paint the bird on my fascinator. I have now painted him orange but I might make him redder so he stands out more. He looks strongly coloured in the photo but in real life he is very hidden in the netting.

Job two is a lot fiddlier as I am no embroiderer! I am stitching the label for my sister's wedding dress for her 'something blue' and as I am not a patient, or neat, person this is proving tricky for me. But I will persevere (not least because she will kill me otherwise) and hope to get it all done today.

Unfortunately the wax sculpture class which I was meant to be doing all this week has been cancelled, which is a real shame as now I have all the tools, and was eager to use them under guidance. But I guess it gives me time to get every thing else done instead.
