This photo of a jumble of beads and beadwork sums up my brain this morning.

Finally, after lots of pondering, and playing around taking apart previously made pieces, I think I have finally worked out what I want to do for projects 4 and 8 on this list. As I have already now worked out projects 3, 5 and 7 I'm starting to feel like I'm getting somewhere. Obviously I havent yet finished beading, never mind writing up, any of these projects but that's a minor issue...

My main job for today is deciding on what colours to bead them in. I love the hyacinth colour sequins I had already used in these samples so I just need some type of large focal crystal in the same colour. Except of course after hours of searching it appears Swarovski don't make any. So I then had the dilemma of changing my colour choice or figuring out what else to use for the project. All of this took me many hours and I think I may have worked out a good choice but I won't know for certain until I start beading. And that's not fun when you're ordering wholesale quantities of beads!

What I am planning to do for one of the projects is combine my Geometric Crystal Squares with a variation on my Geometric Crystal Stars so fingers crossed it all works out. Especially as I'm going to try and make it double-sided...
