Fresh And new

After a day of work sitting at the computer yesterday I took some time out for an evening of fun and catching up with friends.

Between the four of us there were 2 vegetarians, one vegan and one omnivore (guess which one I am). But we're all big fans of raw, taste-filled food so a night out at Saf seemed the obvious choice.

Over a meal of cucumber consomme (Chipotle and lime sorbet served in cucumber broth and drizzled with chilli oil) and samosas (Root vegetables wrapped in dehydrated flaxseed skins and served with mango chutney & tamarind dip) we had lots of chat, laughs and story telling.

Once full we headed to JubJub (which we had to ourselves!) where we continued laughing and trying on each others clothes until it was time to head home.

Up early for work this morning I'm heads down working on my June newsletter. Every month I swear to myself I'll get it out earlier, but time just seems to go and so once again I'm going to have it out just in time to still call it a June newsletter- just.

This one is a bit different as for the first time I have coded it myself!

Obviously when I say that, what I mean is I took the HTML code etc from my May newsletter (kindly written by my handy web person) and changed the text and photos. I didn't hae to do it from scratch but just alter a few bits and pieces. After a quick lesson in coding I was left to handle it myself and despite my worries that I would completely mess it all up I seem to have got it right. But I confirmed to myself that some days my brain just cannot deal with that sort of work. My mind just doesn't want to compute different languages without it feeling twisted and upside down. I guess I'll stick to beading!

I have 3 new sets of instructions available today: Star bracelet, Spiky and Swing Earrings. Hope you like them.
