A lazy day today with some beading, some TV watching, the cinema and lots of sleeping.

We managed to rouse ourselves to go out in the evening to a special live broadcast of a film all about The Kings Of Leon- Talihina Sky.

Before we went I could find no reviews of the film so it was a shot in the dark as to whether it would be good but at the end of the day how could a film about a sexy, young rock band who play music I love disappoint? Well, I suppose it could be like the Metallica film where they all turn out to be immense idiots, but fortunately this film was the opposite of that. They were everything you want a rock band to be- and more.

After the film there was a chaotic live Q&A broadcast from Edinburgh which was worth staying for, not only to hear the band being very funny, but to see the poor interviewer flip-flop between trying to keep order whilst keeping his rock 'n' roll cred with the band. He managed neither.

I took no photos today but instead will do some kind of fancy time-travelling thing where instead I show you photos of things I'll see tomorrow.
