Different Stitching

I had a very fun day yesterday teaching my Geometric Stars and once again got to see all the colour combinations everyone made. I completely forgot to take any photos though- sorry. I am next teaching this in September so if you want to learn how to make these, and the great bail, then sign up soon before all the spaces are gone.

Once done it was a rush back to London for a party where I got to premier my new wedge shoes and surprised myself by being able to walk in them. A good day all round!

Today I'm tired and not feeling well so after a roller derby committee meeting it's home to bed but I am itching to do something with my hands. My newly re-started bead embroidery has got me in the stitching mood, but I'm too tired for little beads and instead root out one of my many (many) unfinished embroideries as this I can do lying in bed and without having to follow a pattern.

I was given this kit possibly ten or so years ago and as you can see never got much done. I raced along tonight but unfortunately at one point got carried away and worked with far too tight a tension so a good 25% of what I did will have to be undone. I am going to save that until the end as at the moment it'll mean undoing 10% of what I've made which is awful, whereas when finished it will only be about 0.5% which will feel a lot less painful.
