Back Beading

It's my bead group today and I resolve to spend the day beading something for fun for myself.

I am still contrary about my recent colour choices so instead bring the beads needed to make another of my Affinity Bangles. This time the same dark pewter seed beads and metallic purple crystals.

The day flies by in a whirr of beading, catching up, admiring everyone else's work and recent purchases, a trip to the lovely local health food shop for tasty lunch purchases and even a quick visit to the London Bead Co for a browse.

My new bangle is a joy to bead and works up really quickly. Although it would have been quicker if I hadn't been too busy chatting and laughing to always pay attention to row counts, which results in a lot of un-beading over the course of the day.

I don't get it all done at group but head home determined to settle down for a dose of Saturday night TV accompanied by beading and by the time I head to bed, all beaded out, it's done.
