How exciting- all of our little wax carvings have now been cast in silver!
They come back from casting still attached to the sprue tree and black with oxidisation but it’s still fun to spot your piece on the tree.
After being cleaned up its time for us to get to work perfecting them.
I begin with working on the ring I began on day one. Annoyingly the sprue was attached to the beautiful point I spent hours perfecting so I begin by sawing this off and spending just as long getting the point back again.
My medal and charms already look pretty good so it’s just a few hours of filing and wet and dry sanding on them- wish me luck!
