Crochet Fever

Finishing my crochet necklace has reminded me just how much I love crochet, so I scoured my very small yarn collection to find something else to do.

No luck.

Then I remembered this incredible Daria yarn from Noro which is more like a cord, so I keep it with my stringing supplies.

I knew it wouldn't drape easily, so wasn't ideal for clothing. I also only had 1 piece of it in three different colourways, so didn't have enough to make something large.

After a bit of pondering I decided to crochet some simple vessels.

The yarn was perfect as it holds it shape well and when used tightly is rigid enough to stand and use.

It was hard on my hands though so I'll give it a rest before I move on with the third one.

Now back to my UFOs...
