Today we spent the day in Bath and visited the Roman Baths, did an open top bus tour around the town, popped into the dolls house shop on Pulteney Bridge and then I headed to the Thermae Bath Spa for a relaxing swim and massage.
The new spa is lovely and the roof-top pool is definitely worth a visit to lounge in the warm bubbling water whilst admiring the lovely architecture all around.
Whilst we were at the Roman Baths we sampled the famous water. My only memory of a previous visit to Bath around 20 years ago was the awfulness of the water but this time it was no way near as bad- almost drinkable!
