Fun In Bath

I've travelled across to Bath for a couple of days to try and see some places I've been desperate to see for ages- though apparently I did visit them all about twenty years ago I have no memories of it at all- well just one awful memory of drinking the water- more of that tomorrow.

Today we visited the places which were the main reasons for the trip- Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge (a must for all fans of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue).
Both were great fun and I loved seeing the stalactites and stalagmites. But I especially enjoyed the amazing Magical Mirror Maze in Wookey Hole.
I never realised how disorientating it would be to walk around one. I don't know how many times I thought I was walking towards my companion only to realise at the last second I was about to walk into a mirror and they were actually around the corner. At one point I counted 15 different reflections of the person I was looking for and was very glad I wasn't there alone-it was the perfect setting for a horror film!

In Cheddar we also managed to find time to have a great lunch of fish and chips, see cheese being made, walk up the274 steps of Jacobs ladder to the look-out tower (and its amazing views) and even find a bead shop!
