Interview And Bead Fair

posted: Monday, 29 September 2008

A fun week with a visit to the publishers of Bead Magazine to take photos and pack up contributor's work and copies of the magazine.
I also fitted in some filming for Bead TV and met and interviewed Rosie and Tjobbe who are travelling around Britain on their craft tour. You can see all about the interview I did of them here and their interview of me here. I have to say as well I love being called a 'beadist' such a good word!

This Sunday was Harrow Bead fair run by The Bead Society of Great Britain and I went along and managed to not buy many beads- but instead splurged on some nice ready-made jewellery in bright colours.

Not done much beading this week, instead I have been working through my yarn stash as it's the Knitting & Stitching show soon and I need to make room for all the purchases I might just make...So I have crocheted myself a scarf and have just finished a teddy-bear for a friend's new baby- welcome to the world Emily!

All of the classes I will be teaching in London next year are now up on the website and can be seen here. You can also see some residential classes I will be teaching in Chichester at Earnley Concourse. If you're interested in more classes check back soon as I will soon be able to post details of some more one-day and residential classes I'll be doing next year.

I have also found my new favourite website!
