This necklace is made using spiral rope with a fringing/ embellishing technique I developed.
I began at the base of the spiral adding a mix of flower and leaf beads to get the full, heavy look I wanted and then worked my way upwards.
At the top of the centrepiece, I split the spiral rope and continued beading each side until it was the length I wanted. To finish I added a beaded toggle clasp and some embellished loops to create a fastening with an adjustable fit.
