A day out today to go and see both the Frida Kahlo exhibition, Fashioned from Nature and The Future Starts Here all on at the Victoria and Albert Museum at the moment.
The Fashion exhibition was very interesting and I was delighted to see this amazing dress designed by Jean Paul Gaultier (you can see better photos and read more about it here and here).
By the end of the day we were full of culture, and sweating in this incredible heatwave, and so headed to the British Museum of Food to see Scoop: A Wonderful Ice Cream World. This is a fun exhibition (which I helped to crowd-fund, look out for my name on the 'Frozen Wall of Fame'!) where we whiled away a few minutes and then enjoyed some unusual ice cream before heading home out of the heat.
