A colourful and cultural trip out today to the Victoria and Albert Museum for a talk by Peter Chadwick, graphic designer and author of This Brutal World (you can check out lots of his photos on his Instagram page).
Beforehand we looked for colour and good design all around finding lots in The Conran Shop (including these great display frames to add to my collection and hold pieces of beadwork). We also filled up on coffee, Sherry and padron peppers to keep us going.
The talk was great and spanned much more than the amazing architecture. Peter also wove in tales of growing up in the North of England surrounded by industrial architecture, the music of his youth and designing record sleeves.
