It is always good news when new bead colours are introduced and this new set is no exception!

Miyuki have added some new colours to their palette and also 'filled in some gaps' in their previous colours to bring out 54 brand new beads.

So today I have added a brand-new bead collection available fro sale and it contains all 54 colours and will ship a the end of August.

The weather is still wonderful in London and I'm making the most of it by getting out as much as possible, not hard when your walk to anywhere is through this beautiful park.

As I walk along I listen to lots of podcasts (I mentioned some in a previous blog post) and today one mentioned a quote by Pablo Picasso and it got me searching to see if he had any more and boy did he - this man had a lot to say about inspiration and art! The one which seems apt to me today is:

'Inspiration exists but it has to find you working'

I love this one because it sums up my feelings about my work & the work I put in to keep myself creative and creating.

This evening I returned to a project which is based on a sketch I did many years ago. I first began it then but it has been put away and got out again so many times but now I'm finally getting a chance to see if it works.
