Querkles

Still no beading for me and the thought of just sitting and watching TV gets me flailing my unused hands around in boredom, so instead I turn to something else to fill my time: colouring-in.

If you browse Facebook, or sometimes it seems any internet site, you'll be bombarded with 'click-bait' headlines such as 'You won't believe what one housewife did...' or 'This dog had an apple and you won't believe what happened next...'.

All very annoying and seemingly designed to send you crazy. But one day a few months ago one of them caught my eye... and it was interesting looking enough that I just had to click (aaarrghh!) fortunately it was worth it as the link took me to the work of Thomas Pavitte and specifically his Querkle books.

This evening I finally had a chance to use one of the books and within a few minutes I was addicted. These are such fun to do: you get to play with colour, you don't have to be neat and you end up with an eye-catching and unusual picture at the end. I urge you to buy one and begin Querkling away.
