My life is crazy hectic at the moment between beading, having family staying (always lovely!) and trying to keep on top of everything I fell into bed early last night, exhausted, only to be woken up bright flashes of lightning with no accompanying sound of thunder and no rain... very eerie. The lightning went on for over 2 hours, and in the end I was tracking it on Lightning Maps to see that over 20,000 strikes hit in a short space of time.

The oddness of so many hundreds of strikes around me was enough to keep me awake, though my fascination quickly turned to fear when they began to strike the ground just outside the house.

After that there was no hope of me getting to sleep so instead I rooted through my package from Swarovski of 28,242 crystals all ready to be counted and bagged for my Christmas 2015 Secret Bead-along kit.
