About 20 years ago I tore a page from a home decorating magazine of a paint chart, such as you'd find in a DIY store, used to decorate a wall.

Ever since I've held onto the idea of doing this one day and when we moved I was pleased to find I still had the piece of paper.

Now, as we come to do some home decorating, I can barely sleep trying to decide what colours to choose. Do I go for a tonal look and choose a single colour strip? If so, in what colours? Blue to match the new sofas or orange to contrast? Or do I pick a range of colours from the beautiful cushions my sister gave use for Christmas 2013 which contains the blues and oranges I want? Or do I choose others colours completely? Arrghh - too many choices!
