Cornwall 2015 - Day 1

posted: Saturday, 25 April 2015

A very early start this morning at we headed out at 5am to be down in Cornwall at GJ Beads for me to teach my Geometric Stars.

I have holidayed in Cornwall too many times to count since I was a teenager but sadly I've been too busy to visit the past couple of years and haven't been since 2012.

GJ Beads is a lovely shop that I've visited many times and loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the shop and the groups there but this weekend was my first time teaching there.

After a 4 hour drive we got to Hayle and just had time for a quick sandwich for breakfast before I began teaching.

It was a great day and as always I really enjoyed seeing the colour variations and patterns that appeared.

After class we headed to our little chalet and then for fish & chips to toast our return to Cornwall after too long an absence.
