My new book is all written and ready for the publishers - a full 8 weeks early.

I only had 24 weeks to do it all so managing to cut a third of that time off meant lots of late nights writing and re-writing.

It's been really enjoyable once again writing a book for beginners as it's given me a chance to revisit how best to write instructions for tricky techniques such as right-angle weave and I think after all these years I've managed to condense and improve them.

I have a couple of pieces to make for examples of stitches but once these are all done and the next photo-shoot takes places we're onto the editing and proofing stage which is exciting as I get to see it appear on pages and the book becomes a reality.
