Bristol Beaders

I popped to Bristol for the day for an Armarria class with the lovely Bristol Beaders and it was great to be able to show them my two new finished pieces.

One of my favourite things as a teacher and designer is when someone takes one of my designs and just runs with it. There's only so much I can bead and so getting to see all the colours and variations possible on a project makes up for me not beading able to bead 24 hours a day.

If they choose better colours than I did, think of a variation I hadn't or even just simply bead more of something I'm delighted.

Today I got to see that with Sue Hordle's wonderful variation on my piece Geometric 3-1-2. Sue, who I remember last year also had wonderful beadwork, had really taken this project and run - beading far more of these components than I could ever bear to - and in such great colours!
