It seems like it's been a long time coming but Geometric Beadwork Volume 2 has arrived!

I had no idea what time it would get here but it was nice and early so we got a head start on our busy day. This was a good job as I had casually mentioned to my sister (who used to be a hairdresser so the perfect person to have here today) the day before that I was thinking of dyeing my hair blue. She was all for it so before I knew it she was busy pasting bleach on my hair whilst I was signing books and putting them in envelopes.

Having dark brown hair (all natural of course...) meant that we had to bleach it 4 times to get it light enough to take the blue dye which led to many trips to hairdresser supply shops as we ran out. But that gave us a break from sticking envelopes and by the time we went to bed that evening all the books and kits were packed up ready to go into the post and my hair was a crazy mix of cobalt and turquoise- a crazy day all round.
