New York 2014 - Day 7

Another day, another neck re-adjustment and another whale.

The day started with taking care of my neck and shoulder, whilst the pain is nearly gone (or at least so, so much better than it was) I'm stiff and the bursitis I've had on and off for a good 10 years now is still hanging around.

Once done I was worn out so a big piece of protein seemed the perfect remedy so we dined on steak at Rare (using the biggest cutlery I've ever seen?!?) before heading off for more shopping, and more specifically a new whale.

I have written many times before about my love for the work of Jonathan Adler and it was a treat to visit one of his shops today. Fortunately he now has a shop in London but sadly they don't sell the full range so I had been waiting for this.

As soon as we approached the outside my heart skipped a beat. There in the window was the most glorious purse combining so many things I love: a whale, a purse, cobalt blue and brass. My love for whales was reignited recently but it's fire began a long time ago.

As we wandered the shop there was so much to see but I kept returning to this whale. Then the assistant reminded me that accessories were 20% off and he was mine.

All the whale signals are spurring me on to finally get around to a design idea I've been pondering for a long time so fingers crossed I'll soon get the time to do it.

On the wander home we popped into an intriguing shop which turned out to be selling beautiful looking film taking cameras and I got completely confused by a sign I thought was telling me to do 3 separate things at once.
