Vestal Voyages

Back home and a night out with friends onboard a Vestal Voyage canal boat where we distilled gin, travelled a 1/2 mile long tunnel and took turns wearing the captains hat.

The night out and drink go some way to placating me after the TSA, on just 5 flights over 3 trips the past 2 weeks, managed to lose/ steal a custom made extremely expensive orthopaedic shoe insert (at least they left me with one but as I have to get re-examined and replace the pair it's the full £400+ for replacements) as well as some fancy nail varnish I treated myself to in Chicago. They also managed to open all of my toiletries and perfume and not do up the lids tightly again... and then there was the sealed clear tube of 100 beading needles in a clear box in a clear bag (and fully labelled) that they opened and kindly distributed throughout my luggage as a nice surprise when I went to unpack. No wonder I need a drink.
