The sun is out in London and I'm trying to make the most of it knowing that it could disappear any second.

Yesterday we took the evening off to see my sister and niece at Victoria Park and had a pub dinner sitting in the sun catching-up before playing in the park until we were too tired to continue.

This evening we joined the same sister for a more adult evening of food and drink at El Parador in Mornington Crescent. Fortunately most of my family are adventurous eaters so together my sister and I exploded the menu, even if Mr Jean Power did try to put us off by pointing out that the octopus we ordered resembled Gonzo's nose.

We finished our meal sharing almond tart and having a glass of the most incredible dessert sherry I'm now on a mission to try and buy.
