Charisma Beads Day Two

My second day at Charisma Beads and another new project to unleash on students. But once again the day went well and it was a delight to see all the variations that appeared.

After being so tempted by everyone beading yesterday I decided I had to join in today and began to make my own new Zinnia which I nearly finished by the end of the day. My main problem was choosing which beads to use. So many choices surrounded me...

This Zinnia Flower project is a personal favourite of mine as it's technically quite clever but simple to bead once you know how - my favourite type of work. I must admit I do base my love of projects on just how 'technically clever' they are, or how elegant a solution to a problem I have found and that tends to cloud my judgement of the finished piece. But fingers crossed I manage to combine those things with something that looks good and everyone is happy. If you also like this project then it's an upcoming class at a few venues.
