Back to beading today and I'm working on the clasp for my latest piece. I did plan to have a hidden clasp but have decided that it won't work. So instead I'm trying to make a clasp that wil be seen, but not obviously appear to be the clasp.

Unfortunately this is one of those items that as much as I think it through, it won't be until I finish the last row, and then check the pendant hanging on the chain, will I know its worked. And of course it doesn't.

I've spent 6 hours on it today and even though I think I now know exactly what to do to make it work I wish I could magically make it appear without having to cut this and start again. But at least the pendant itself is all repaired and finished which is spurring me on.
