Today is my last day here and whilst it has gone far too quickly my body is crying out to return to a colder London.
Last night we visited a market and so today I'm returning home with a pierced metal lampshade, courtesy of Indiana, which will always remind me of my trip along with many special memories.
Indiana is heading home to France and I'm sad any excuse may have had to return to Cairo is gone for the moment as I really have fallen in love with it this trip.
Today is a trip to the office, some beading, a lovely lunch and then a long flight home back to my own bed and all that work I've been putting off for the duration of the trip.
