Peyote Pattern Problems

posted: Tuesday, 27 March 2012

Today was mainly spent trying to catch up with emails and life but this evening I settled down for some beading on my new piece which I want to post to Egypt in a week or so.

It's so long since I've beaded a flat piece and followed a pattern like this and now I really remember why- I'm no good at it and I hate doing it! Well, maybe not hate, but I much prefer doing work I can look at and see where to go next. I find following a pattern very slow and I get lost half-way through each and every row, despite colouring them in etc.

After a few hours beading I realised I had gone wrong rows back and that I needed to cut out all I had done this evening.

Banging my head against a wall I decided enough was enough for today and hopefully all will be better tomorrow.
