Today is Boxing Day, or St Stephen's Day as I grew up knowing it.
It's tradition in our family, a Catholic tradition I think, not to eat meat on this day so instead dinner is salmon with new potatoes and dill sauce.
A neighbour has kindly given us a delicious roulade with some kind of berry filling. The eating of which we all enjoy but we're split as to whether it also has coffee in the filling. Have you ever heard of such a combination? It seems a strange idea but, if that was what it actually was, it works.
