I love Roger

I have no idea who Roger is but I love him for putting this little seat half-way up a steep hill. As I approached it I thought I was seeing a mirage but no, there was a seat just sitting there waiting to hold me for a minute or two.

I forgot to take a photo at the bottom of the hill and by the time I thought about it there was no way I was going back down just for it, so this one of half-way will have to suffice.

Today began with another sunny walk, the last of our trip unfortunately, and we walked along the dunes, through the harbour and then onto The King George V Memorial Walk which was beautiful. Lots of tropical plants and secret places to sit and take in the scenery. Whilst sitting I saw an amazing plant, and as I know almost nothing about plants any help in identifying it would be appreciated. I have seen the plant before but either never seen, or never noticed, the strange yellow/ orange berry looking bits on it. All help gratefully received!

Back from the walk it was time to sit and eat pasties, watch the wedding and begin beading.

I am still working on my latest pieces and have now made three of them. My next step will be working on modifying the idea and then maybe turning them into a big, sumptuous piece...
