Zetter Townhouse

Another busy day beading and emailing but we escape in the evening for a London Cocktail Society meet-up.

This evening it's for the opening of Zetter Townhouse, a new boutique hotel and bar in London.

It is of course a school-night, so we only pop in for a short while, but managed to enjoy a cocktail or two (both alcoholic and non) especially when we realised, when we got the bill, they were half-price for the night.

I enjoyed a nettle gimlet (very fresh) and a Flintlock (a bit weird- I am a big fan of bitters and was hoping for more).

The bar itself is gorgeous with lovely furniture, interesting nick-nacks and a nice atmosphere. They were really run off their feet but couldn't have been nicer.

The area where Zetter is situated is a nice one and we had an enjoyable walk from the tube there and back and spotted both this colourfully lit up church (St Lukes) and this monster lurking in an upstairs window above a pizza restaurant. It's hard to tell from the photo but the church was lit in a neon blue/ teal. It seemed an unusual colour but really striking.

Whilst out and about today I also spotted this great poster showing the London skyline. This was the best picture I could get as I whizzed by it on an escalator. I love the use of grey with strong colour.

Anyway, less chat, more beading!
