I've trying to spend a bit more time beading at the moment rather than just doing paperwork and emails so planned to devote today to just beading.

Of course I wasn't that strict, but once I had all my work done, I sat down and began playing.

I love these crystals (I use them in my "Crystal Wheels" kits) and wanted to use them some more as I think they're a great way of adding sparkle and colour without too many facets and it makes a change to see the shape rather than a bicone.

I could envisage exactly what it was I wanted to create (a set of bangles that slot together if you wear more than one of them) but turning that into reality proved hard.

This didn't turn out the shape I wanted and although I like it as it is (thought it's still unfinished- I can't decided whether or not to add more embellishment) it's not what I want.

So it's back to the drawing board- but I'm not sure what I want is possible with these beads so I may have to come up with something different with them.
