Cross Stitch

I had a trip out this afternoon for a meeting which meant the joy of spending 5 hours on tubes and trains.

I am well used to beading on the train now, so did that on the way there, but coming home I was too tired and my arm too sore from falling on it skating on Sunday to grip a fine needle.

By the time I had got back to London I was bored out of my head and still had an hour of travelling to do- oh no!

So, off to the newsagents to peruse the poor choice of magazines.

I was not interested in celebrity gossip, home decorating tips or dieting advice, so the choice was limited. (Why can't we get the best "womens' magazine" ever, Bust, on the shelves here in the UK????)

So, in the end a cross-stitch magazine with this free kit caught my eye.

It's ages since I last did any cross-stitch so it was a treat. Until I remembered it's even slower than beading!
