Geometric And Beyond

I have managed to finish my latest geometric piece and am really pleased with it.

It is a pendant that ingeniously opens up so that you can place small items inside it. I am really pleased that the vision I had of how it would work has worked!

It is an idea that I had a few years ago and have been working on both physically and mentally since then, so it's great to have it all done.

This will be taught as a class in New York later in the year, so sign up to my newsletter for more details- as well as details of a variation of it, inspired by Gaudi, being taught at my beading retreat in September 2011.

Of course I am straight on with my next idea and this is another one I have been working on for a while.

As I have posted before, I keep all of my samples so once again I have returned to them for inspiration. A piece I beaded many years ago was a prototype 3D star that I have now decided to work out how to turn it into a similar pendant.
