I've managed to juggle my time and get a day off so have headed over to France for 24 hours to enjoy the incredible sunshine we have at the moment.
Of course the first thing I did with my precious time off was fall alseep in the sun and go nicely red, but I did also manage to fit in a visit to the lovely Abbaye de Valloires for lunch.
I once again had the cheese plate which, accompanied by a glass of rose and ice-cream, cheered me up and eased the pain.
