"The River" by Aristide Maillol at MOMA
A busy day today being touristy.
First up an attempt to visit the Statue of Liberty. But after queueing for 45 minutes and then being told that we wouldn't get in, I decided to skip it and caught the Staten Island Ferry instead.
After the journey there and back, and my 30 second visit to Staten Island, I was back in Manhattan and moved on to the National Museum of the Native American which has some fantastic beadwork to look at.
I squeezed in a bit more sightseeing, then onto The Museum of Modern Art. I was really pleased to see a work by Aristide Maillol as I love his work and have been fortunate enough to see a few of these "fallen women" now.
Then onto a great Japanese book shop, the cinema and home to bed.
