Well, I went to spend and came home almost empty handed. I alway love going to the Knitting & Stitching Show and usually come home with lots of treats and inspired.

This year just felt different. There seemed to be nothing new or exciting and I ended up spending a grand total of £5.99.

£1.99 on some double-sided tape for a class next year and £4 on some bangles with removable ends for a project I'm working on.

I nearly spent another £44 on two strands of fantastic large semi-precious stones which I fell in love with as soon as I saw them. I even knew exactly what I wanted to make with them.

Unfortunately the string holding one of them snapped and the beads fell less than 2ft onto the carpeted floor where half of them promptly broke. Funnily enough I wasn't so inclined to  spend that much money on something that plainly wasn't going to stand up to being worn. Glad I discovered that before I bought them!
