One & Other

I've mentioned my love of Antony Gormley's work before (especially when combined with jewellery!).

So when I knew I would be home in London when his new work at the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square began today I had to be there for the start of it.

It was really interesting to see the start of it as well as all the press around- and even the fabulous Mayor of London, Boris Johnson. Unfortunately due to the vagaries of London transport I missed the exciting disruption to the start.

Just as interesting is to watch it live on the website- you can hear what the participants can say as they stand there so watch for bad language and interesting mumblings!

Whilst watching, I spotted a man with an unusual camera set-up. It was two cameras both joined onto what looked like a level with a small gap between them. I wasn't sure at first if it was what I thought it was, but plucked up the courage to ask and it was indeed a 3d camera set-up. The man was Frank Pohlmann who runs 3D Britain- so root out those 3D Spec and admire his work!

On a more beady note I managed last night to figure out how to bead my double-sided rivoli pendant I have been working on recently so look out for that as a future project in Bead.
