We jumped on a train today and headed for to Paris. Apart from the usual problems with Parisienne hospitality and manners we had a great day.
It's my 5th visit to Paris and usually we go out of season or in August so it was very different to see it full of tourists and with lots of queues!
It was a day of queuing and waiting around and lots of the things we had planned i.e. visiting the Catacombs and going up the Eiffel Tower will have to wait for another day when less people are around. But we still managed to see a lot of lovely sights, including these police vans which were obviously named after vitamins.
