I love this house, it just doesn't feel like it's ours. It feels too good to be true. It's as though we're in a hotel or self-catering and soon someone is going to come and make us check out and go back to reality and our tiny old house.

We're still knee-deep in boxes and planning so have escaped to France for a family holiday. Fortunately the big storm didn't affect our journey too much and we're soon relaxing.

My original Liekulis Necklace grew out of a desire to use the wonderful Soft-Touch/ Polaris resin cabochons which have a glow about them so they look as though they are lit from within- glorious.

The thing I like most about beading is starting a new project. The anticipation of whether the idea will work, discovering how the chosen colours combine and seeing an idea I had come to life in my hands. Once I'm past that stage I just want to rush onto the next project.
