Geometric 1-9-1 Instructions

An award-winning advanced beaded necklace with a double-sided pendant based on geometric shapes.

The necklace incorporates pentagons and squares with a beaded pendant, bail, rope and clasp cover.

This 23-page step-by-step tutorial contains all the instructions, diagrams and photos you will need to make your own version including the basic instructions for my Geometric Bail.

Also included are new instructions for varying the project i.e. using 2x 30mm crystals, one domed crystal or having the same beadwork on both sides.

All tutorials contain full instructions and tips as well as check lists for all tools, materials and techniques needed to help you shop and plan.

Materials needed:

  • Needle and thread of choice

For the pendant:

  • Size 15 cylinder beads such as Delicas or Aikos
  • Focal/ focals of your choice (I used 1 x 30mm and 1 x 20mm or 2 x 30mm Swarovski chessboard flatbacks #2035)

For the rope:

  • Size 11 cylinder beads
  • Small hook and eye clasp or sewing hook and eye or other small clasp

A basic knowledge of ladder, peyote (tubular, flat, circular, step-ups, increasing and decreasing) and herringbone (tubular and step-ups) stitches are needed. This is an intermediate to advanced project!

I love to support and encourage individuals who make beadwork so please feel free to use anything you make from these instructions as gifts or to sell to support your bead buying habit!

Sadly due to EU VAT regulations I cannot sell this as an instant download but the file will be sent to you asap. If you would like it instantly you can purchase it here but if you are within the EU you will be charged VAT.
